Thanks for this! This LP is one of a bunch I inherited from my dad. I've slowly been going through them but haven't made it to this one yet.

CTI was such a great, creative label (in my opinion, it's up there with the eclectic, but very interesting Vanguard label).

Hubbard, Montgomery, Benson, Farrell, Turrentine, Dedato, James, Szabó... the list goes on. It also includes the many players on so many albums (such as James, but also artists like Chick Corea and John McLaughlin who are on some of Farrell's records).

James returned the favor for Washington by playing and arranging on the latter's Kudu albums; they co-authored the sublime "Black Frost" for one of those.
