The line "Well, I love you so much/That it's all I can do/Just to keep myself from telling you" in "It Makes No Difference" might be one of the saddest in pop/rock. The way Danko sings the lines just makes it sting all that much more.
My favorite story about The Band is, when they were up in Woodstock along with Dylan, Bob came over and Robbie played "The Weight" for him. At the time, they were unknown except as Dylan's backing band.
